After a little over two months I finally finished my CHEVALET I made a few cuts just to see how it felt to cut with it and I am amazed at the precession you can attain from such a massive piece of equipment even more so then any of my wood working machines.
I will take it apart now and ease and round some of the sharp edges then give it a final sanding before I apply a finish. I have not given any thought to what I will use its mostly just to keep it stable and to keep the grime from getting into the wood and leaving it look nasty.
